Islam and Honor Killing-man Kills his daughter in Jordan for wearing makeup


Charged for honor killing

AMMAN (Jordan) - PROSECUTORS have charged a man and his two sons for the premeditated murder of his 19-year-old daughter on Saturday, in the latest honor killing to take place in this conservative desert kingdom.
The man and his two sons are charged with beating to death the daughter for leaving the house in make up and talking to a strange man, according to prosecutor Salah al-Taleb's indictment sheet.

The father brought his daughter to the hospital after she lost consciousness and turned himself in.

Autopsy showed severe injuries to the head which caused brain hemorrhage and the body was covered with bruises.

If convicted the man could be sentenced to life in jail.

In Jordan, an average of 20 women are killed by male relatives each year. -- AP

    I hope he gets what he deserves and his sons! This should not only our rage woman but any human should be disgusted and fed up with this barbaric treatment of any human being!

    Jordon usually only gives men 6 months in prison for honor killing. Queen Rania would never address this on youtube channel when asked repeatedly about the short prison sentences for honor killings. Apparently a women's life has less worth than stealing a goat.

    my ex husband was contracted to teach the saudi's his trade...i refused to go to their country. my ex assured me i would be fine BUT i knew better as my mouth can get me in trouble or out is a new york min.....lol But when i was told that i was not allowed to bring my bible or able to talk with a man or shop in a store or go out to eat in a restaurant because woman were not allowed, and i was going to have to be coverd in public...i said no way ...i would be their friday night entertainment that all visitors of the country must attend! This is no theater performance but a PUBLIC BE-HEADING! Wow talk about teaching your guest a lesson they will never forget!
    oh yeah he told be stories how the goat gets to ride in the cab of the truck while the woman ride in the back...like a sack of potatos! hey they really do look that way all covered up...lol
