Is islam a religion for the 21st century?

I often asked myself this question and I can not find one good reason to answer positively, i am trying so hard but the answer is always no, the funny thing is that muslims insist that it is. but all I see is muslims actions the prove otherwise and thats my base for judgment and my gauge and indicator of what direction they are heading,as they race back in time and all i see is their quest for backwardness , this is how I drew my conclusion.

This conclusion is all based on facts and evidence , you may ask for specifics and my answer is simple, but in order to provide a clear and satisfactory answer to those in doubt, I will list several factors and go into each factor and provide the evidence:

Islam and women : just look how women are treated in islam, starting with the way they dress ,the abuse, the honor killing, the circumcision, in some countries women can’t get education ,cant drive and cant work.
if we do a simple comparison of how islam deals with women and compare that with how it deals with man , and I often asked myself : is islam a male religion ? and the answer is absolutely, yes,man gets all the rights , multiple wives and wife beating / abuse and its all made possible / halal by the holly book they follow called quran !!!!!

Islam and other religions: One more factor that contributed to my conclusion is the way islam deals with others , none muslims, they refuse to accept others and they want to force their ideology on others,even if they had to use violence, terror, hate and killing all done by the followers of the cult of peace, from Sept 11, to Madrid,London,Jordan Bali to Mumbai, by alqaida, hamas, hizballah, and many others that call for jihad and killing of infidels and kafirs, Jews and Christians and Hindus .

Islam and education: as we all know illiteracy is wide spread in the muslim world and education takes a back seat to many things, its not a priority and it is clear and the statistics provide ample and pleny of evidence to support this factor.

Islam and technology: they dont mix, its like water and oil, you cant mix the 2, the muslim world is stuck in its primitive shape, refusing to adopt technology , in fact they are drifting away from the technology and going back to the stone age and mohammad days. while the west reached the moon and is living the 21st century, Islam is stuck in reverse and heading to the 7th century.


Can we close and settle for a conclusion that islam belongs to 1400 years ago and not for today?? can we also say islam and civilization are not compatible. Finally lets say it loud and clear , "Islam is NOT a religion for the 21st century."
